Famille Perrin

Famille Perrin is a renowned family-owned winery situated in the Southern Rhône Valley of France. The family's winemaking journey began in 1909 when Pierre Tramier acquired the historic Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. His son-in-law, Pierre Perrin, and later his grandson, Jacques Perrin, expanded the estate and its vineyards. Today, the fifth generation of the Perrin family continues this legacy, managing over 300 hectares of vineyards across the region.

The diversity and sophistication of Famille Perrin

The family's vineyards are spread across prestigious appellations, including Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Vinsobres. Each vineyard is cultivated with a deep respect for the terroir, employing organic and biodynamic farming practices since the 1950s. This commitment ensures that the wines authentically express the unique characteristics of their origins.

Famille Perrin's diverse portfolio includes esteemed estates such as Château de Beaucastel, Domaine du Clos des Tourelles, and the popular La Vieille Ferme range. The latter has been a favorite among wine enthusiasts for over four decades, offering red, white, and rosé wines that capture the essence of the Southern Rhône's terroirs.

In addition to their French ventures, the Perrin family has expanded internationally. Notably, they partnered with the Haas family to establish Tablas Creek Vineyard in California, bringing Rhône varietals to the United States. They have also collaborated with celebrities like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to produce Miraval rosé in Provence.

The family's dedication to excellence and sustainability has earned them a place in the Primum Familiae Vini, an association of prestigious family-owned wineries. This membership reflects their commitment to upholding the highest standards in winemaking.

Through a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, Famille Perrin continues to craft wines that are celebrated worldwide for their quality, complexity, and true expression of the Southern Rhône Valley's rich viticultural heritage.
